Though both main tracks were originally recorded quickly and improvisationally in the Autumn of 2013, the atmosphere of the season resounds through them: the distant smell of woodsmoke, the fiery red of the scattered leaves, the ghosts of Halloween, the sound of horror films ignored but still haunting the TV in another room.

‘Lodge’ is the sound of threat, unstoppable and burning through the dead leaves; and ‘Saint Helena’ is the sound of a wind so harsh and strong that it plays tricks on the mind.
